Door Frame FAQ
After confirmation of the order (deposit of 50% made), we would arrange for a site measurement which would require the removal of the skirting if any. After measurement, the frame would take 1-2 weeks to be ready. After which we would arrange with you an appointment. On the day of installation, it would take us about 2-4 hours for the installation and arrange with you a date for the painter (for varnish or painted door) to come down for the touch-up. This would usually be in the next 1 - 3 working days. After the touch up is done, we would process the balance of 50%.
The difference between the main door and normal door frame is the fire-rated requirement. As such, ironmongery etc is provided by us and cannot be changed. The Fire-rated sticker is issued usually within 1 month - 3 months.
For HDB, there is a chance for damages to walls/tiles as the frames are usually attached to the wall. For Condo, only if the subframe has to be changed. For minor touch up work such as minor cracks, we do assist with it. For larger damages, you would need to find a relevant repairman as we do not specialize in tiles or concrete work. As much as we try to minimize the damage but as we are hacking away something attached to the wall, it is also not within our power to say we are able to minimize damage to 100% for sure.
In cases where only 1 or 2 frame needs to be changed, we try our best to match the colour by 80% to the old ones.
